Stop the fire
Discover the solution that protects your home from any fire caused by solar panels. Easy to install on your roof, the FireBlock membrane acts as a shield against fire and, thanks to the albedo effect, increases the efficiency of your solar panels.
One membrane—two effects
FireBlock is a multifunctional membrane that has two immediate effects.

Blocks the fire
Prevents the fire from spreading to the roof structure
- Protects insulation, wood, and load-bearing structures
- Suitable for flat and sloped roofs
- Complies with fire protection standards

Increase PV efficiency
Reflecting light increases electricity production
- Panel production efficiency increases by 7%
- Optimizes production for double-sided panels
- Increases output with minimal costs and changes
How to Install

Fireblock Membrane
FireBlock is a thin, fire-resistant membrane with a multilayer construction and patented technology on the inside. The interior is designed to respond to high thermal exposure, while the outer layers provide mechanical stability and compatibility with standard roofing systems.

Heat-Resistant Adhesive and Tape
High-temperature-resistant adhesives and tapes are used to bond joints and overlaps, ensuring the system’s integrity in the event of a fire. The products maintain their adhesion and sealing performance at high temperatures, eliminating the need for mechanical fasteners.

Primer
The installation primer is a product designed to prepare surfaces and facilitate installation by removing grease and impurities to ensure uniform adhesion. The product is eco-friendly and non-toxic, posing no risk to the environment.
Types of Roofs

The FireBlock membrane can be installed directly on the roof surface, over the waterproofing membrane, beneath the photovoltaic system. This ensures fire protection and also increases power generation efficiency.
Alternatively, FireBlock can also be installed beneath the waterproofing membrane, thereby protecting the structure beneath the system from fire.
FireBlock can also be installed on sloped (pitched) roofs. It protects combustible insulation, the wooden structure, and other roof membranes. It can even be installed directly over the wooden structure (battens) and acts as a protective layer.
FireBlock has been tested in multiple scenarios, protecting flat roofs insulated with PIR and expanded polystyrene (EPS), sloped roofs with battens, and sloped roofs with plywood and bituminous paper.
In all cases, the fire was 100% contained; the roof and structural components were not affected by the fire, and no condensation formed from the water used to extinguish the fire.
