Detects a fire

SBS is a fire detection device for lithium-ion batteries that provides you with up to 90 minutes of warning before smoke becomes visible.

One sensor—one secure space

SBS is the only sensor you need to detect Li-ion fires

Detects fires early

SBS is the only sensor you need in a room, warehouse, or container to detect fires caused by lithium-ion batteries at an early stage.

Extended Coverage

Whether you want to protect a BESS container, a storage room, or an area containing multiple pieces of equipment with Li-Ion batteries, all you need is one sensor.

How It Works

Extended battery life

The sensor is powered by 2 batteries, allowing for continuous monitoring for 6 months and providing 24/7 protection for the premises.

Monitored Area

The sensor is mounted near the batteries, and, using technology from Kuusakoski and Olfactomics, it detects the specific gases associated with the onset of fires—even in the early stages—with 99.9% accuracy.

Real-time analysis

The sensor connects to the monitoring platform and continuously provides information about air composition; if it detects the presence of fire-related compounds, it triggers a warning alarm.

How do I install it?

Space Analysis

An on-site visit conducted by our expert to determine the number and location of the SBS units required for your operating environment.

Installation

Following the analysis, our team installs the sensors at the optimal locations and sets up access to the real-time monitoring platform.

Subscription and Platform

The sensor operates on a subscription basis, with monthly renewal.

Depending on the number of sensors installed, the per-unit subscription price decreases and becomes more cost-effective.

All sensors are accessed through a platform specifically designed for detecting fires in lithium-ion batteries.
