Lithium-Ion Battery Fire Protection Mask

The LFIM® (Lithium Fire Intervention Mask) provides respiratory and facial protection against toxic gases, smoke, and fragments released during fires or explosions involving lithium-ion batteries and cells. It is designed as an intervention and rescue mask for first responders attending a lithium-ion battery fire. It can also provide protection for employees working in industries where lithium-ion batteries and cells are serviced, charged, or stored.

The lithium-ion battery fire protection mask can be used safely for 15 minutes, even in the immediate vicinity of the fire.

This product includes the two filters required for proper operation.

FEATURES

The LFIM (Lithium Fire Intervention Mask) is designed to provide protection against:

• Battery explosions (EN166B high-speed particles)
• Harmful vapors affecting the face (EN136 mask body)
• Gases, including FH, HCL, LiOH, and soot (EN14387:2004+A1:2008)

The LFIM mask is supplied in vacuum-sealed packaging and is ready for immediate use in the event of a fire. It comes in a storage box with instructions, and the package can be opened easily during an emergency. Instructions, product details, and the maximum shelf life are printed on the box.
