Fires caused by electrical faults in electrical panels are a serious problem worldwide. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), approximately 25-30% of global fires are caused by faults in electrical equipment. The increasing use of complex electrical equipment and increasing energy consumption contribute to the increase in these risks.

In Romania, 40-50% of domestic fires are caused by electrical faults, according to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU). In 2022, over 6,000 fires were triggered by short circuits and faults in electrical installations, many of which were linked to old or poorly maintained electrical panels. The main factors are overloading , faulty insulation and aging equipment .

BlazeCut Technology

BlazeCut autonomous systems are pneumatic systems that operate independently of electricity or other external energy source and provide 10 years of operating autonomy .

BlazeCut systems consist of tubes containing extinguishing agent for classes A, B, C and electrical. The tube material is designed in such a way that, at 105 °C, it melts and releases its contents. Therefore, once the activation temperature is reached, the substance contained in the tube (HFC 227-ea) is dispersed throughout the enclosure and the fire is extinguished, without the need for human assistance or supervision .

The tube system comes in two variants:

  1. T series - freestanding tubes that mount in the electrical panel using plastic/metal clips. ( to the product )
    • It is possible to mount acoustic and visual alarms on the tubes to signal fire.
  2. C Series - systems with extinguishing agent containers and piping for detecting fire in the protected area and extinguishing it by distributing the agent. ( request a quote )
    • The system can be connected to a control panel or alarms to signal the presence of fire.

    To protect more complex enclosures, such as high-voltage electrical panels or industrial equipment , the BlazeCut C Series system is recommended. It has a much greater coverage capacity and is easily customizable. Whether it is manufacturing equipment or even automotive engines, for machinery or trucks, the C Series operates efficiently, autonomously and continuously .
