The LFIM® Lithium Fire Response Mask was developed to protect emergency responders in the event of incidents caused by Li-ion batteries, including first responders and company personnel, in such situations.
The kit provides a sterile storage environment for both the glove set and the protective mask before and after use, aiding in the decontamination process.
The LFIM® Intervention Kit includes:
- Lithium Fire Response Mask – protection against gases and smoke for 15 minutes.
- Heat and impact resistant gloves – protect hands, wrists and forearms from flames and heat.
The LFIM® mask offers protection against :
- Battery explosions due to the visor (EN166B certification for high-speed particles).
- Toxic vapors affecting the face (EN136 certification for the mask body).
- Toxic gases, including FH, HCL, LiOH and soot (EN14387:2004+A1:2008 certification).
Immediate use:
The LFIM® mask is vacuum packed and can be used directly in case of fire. The packaging is delivered in a storage box with clear instructions. The mask can be set up immediately and the details and maximum shelf life are printed on the packaging.
