Lithium-Ion Battery Fire Protection Mask

The LFIM® (Lithium Fire Intervention Mask) provides respiratory and facial protection against toxic gases, smoke and fragments released during fires or explosions of Li-Ion batteries and cells. It is designed as an intervention and rescue mask for first responders to a Li-Ion fire. In addition, for the same situations, it can provide protection for employees working professionally in industries where Li-Ion batteries and cells are maintained, charged or stored.

The protective mask for lithium-ion battery fires can be used safely for 15 minutes, even in the immediate vicinity of the fire.

This product also includes the two filters required for proper operation.

FEATURES

The LFIM (Lithium Fire Intervention Mask) is intended to protect in such situations:

• Battery explosion ( EN166B high-velocity particles)
• Action of harmful vapors on the face ( EN136 mask body)
• Gases, including FH, HCL, LiOH and soot ( EN14387:2004+A1:2008 )

The LFIM mask is supplied in a vacuum pack and can also be used immediately in the event of a fire. It comes in a storage box with instructions and the packaging can be easily opened in the event of a fire. The instructions are printed on the box and the details and maximum shelf life are indicated.
