Solarstop Photovoltaic Panel Fire Extinguisher

SOLARSTOP® is an innovative fire extinguishing device designed for photovoltaic applications, which suppresses fire by cooling and lowering the temperature of flammable materials. Being also suitable for electrical installations, it is suitable for use even by firefighters!

The SOLARSTOP® extinguisher contains 9 kg of extinguishing agent and has been designed to be operated at distances greater than 11 meters from the fire!

Stops the generation of electric current

In addition to its outstanding fire-fighting characteristics, SOLARSTOP® remains on the surfaces of photovoltaic installations forming a durable layer that blocks sunlight, thus reducing the amount of electricity generated.

After the fire is extinguished, the protective film formed by the application of the extinguisher can be easily removed with water, without damaging the photovoltaic panels in any way. They can be put back into operation after the technical problems have been resolved.

Accuracy from a distance of 10 meters

The range of action of SOLARSTOP® allows precise and effective aiming of the extinguishing device towards a fire source. The device can be operated from a distance of 10 meters, without the need to approach the fire. The device is compact, mobile and easy to use.
