Intumescent Paint - Zenova FP

Also known as paint thermoforming or intumescent paint, ZENOVA FP is a water-based fire-resistant paint that prevents the ignition and spread of fire.

This paint transforms the concept of "waterproof" into a "fireproof" concept.

As a result of exposure to heat, the intumescent paint swells and creates a light carbon foam, increasing in volume and decreasing in density. Thus, the heat transfer from the flames to the substrate is greatly reduced. The treated materials become insulated from the elements that sustain the combustion of the fire, as the paint turns into a protective insulating membrane.
